When LPG gets converted into vapor it requires heat. This heat is taken from the shell of the bullet and hence the bullet becomes cool. The moisture near the surface of the bullet gets condensed over the surface and due to the continuous process of condensation; the bullet surface gets corroded easily. But on the other hand the upper half of the bullet gets heated due to Infrared radiations directly from the Sun. It increases the pressure in the bullet tank and in the lines. So to reduce it we use sprinklers to maintain the temperature of the top surface of the bullet. By using this process continuously there is the wastage of water and the energy bills are also increasing. To protect the surface of the bullet, we need thermal insulation to the bullet.
